There are further developments in the investigation of the murder of Stacie Ann Smith discovered on the afternoon of 12/28/2009.

Today, detectives with Kanawha Bureau of Investigation arrested Joseph Daniel Hardwick (24 yoa from Putnam County) and charged him with Accessory After The Fact to Murder.

During the investigation that resulted in the arrest of Timothy Ray Sutherland on 12/30/2009, information was gathered that led investigators to believe that Hardwick had knowledge of Sutherland's actions that morning of 12/28/2009.

He will be arraigned at Kan Co Magistrate Court later today.
